Volume I is a modern day look at model Stirling engine development in England and the U.S. There are sections on various regeneration techniques, cooling, trouble shooting, pressurization, workshop practice, power measurement and construction plans for eleven different model Stirling engines. Enough to keep the old workshop busy for a long time. Volume II Contains detailed information about specific early engines written from the model engineers point of view.
