The maker has re-engineered this engine and it not only runs better and is easier to assemble, but has a new lower price. A Stirling engine at it's most basic. Using a test tube as a displacer cylinder and a balloon as a power piston it cycles about once per second. Both fascinating and instructive it makes an ideal science project or teaching aid. Comes with detailed instructions, all the necessary parts and hardware even the heat source (candle). Requiring only hand tools to assemble it takes about one half hour to put together. Adult supervision suggested for pre-teens.
